I'm having the same problem with windows mail on vista. Ruled out Mcafee as the problem working with their help desk.

I am having the same problem. Crazy thing is that I am able to send the email with the attachment to a different person and it gfoes through fine. I can also send it to the original person via web mail.Seems to be the problem is on OE's side and not COX, but this one is baffling to me.

I have a similar problem as of 3 days ago - can't send out any e-mail but can receive it on OE.Get same error message, but Servererror is 554

All other settings and email id remained the same. Not sure how or why this worked. Would one word vs. two make a difference? Anyway, the ISP technician continued to maintain that their spam filters were not involved with the problem, as I was able to send mail O.K. on their Webmail system.
