I'm using OE 6.0.  I'm getting this 0x800CCC6D error message when I try and send any message with at attachment (small, only 27kb).  I can send messages without attachments with no problem.  Cox says it's not on their end.  Any ideas??____

I am having the same problem. Crazy thing is that I am able to send the email with the attachment to a different person and it gfoes through fine. I can also send it to the original person via web mail.Seems to be the problem is on OE's side and not COX, but this one is baffling to me.

This may be of interest to some of those affected:"Thanks for the help. The problem was resolved by changing the identity name on the account from John to John Graham. All other settings and email id remained the same. Not sure how or why this worked. Would one word vs. two make a difference? Anyway, the ISP technician continued to maintain that their spam filters were not involved with the problem, as I was able to send mail O.K. on their Webmail system. Also, Cox is still using Port 25 in my area. Thank you again for your input.
